Partner and head of International Arbitration practice at INTEGRITES Olena Perepelynska and Counsel Krystyna Khripkova have been elected to the board of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA). Following the elections that took place at the UAA General Membership meeting in December 2024, both arbitration practitioners from INTEGRITES will perform the UAA board member duties during the next three years.
Olena and Krystyna will contribute to the enhancement and development of the arbitration community in Ukraine, to further promotion of Ukrainian arbitrators globally and of Ukraine as arbitration-friendly jurisdiction.
Professional thought leadership of Olena Perepelynska spans several continents, encompassing her roles as President of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association in 2016-2024, board member in the Turkic Arbitration Association, as well as board and founding member of the Arbitration Association of Central and Eastern Europe (ArbCEE). Under her leadership, the International Arbitration practice of INTEGRITES has gained and enjoyed consistent recognition in GAR100, listed among the leading teams in their area of practice globally. In 2023, Olena was selected to feature in GAR 45 under 45 as one of the top international arbitration specialists under the age of 45.
Counsel Krystyna Khripkova joins the UAA board after 7 years of successful membership in the Association. Krystyna is Member of the Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Ukrainian National Bar Association and board member of the Alumni Association of the International Commercial Arbitration Law program (Stockholm University, Sweden). Recommended in Lexology Index: Arbitration 2025 and included in the UAA list of the arbitrators suitable to sit in Ukraine-related international arbitrations, Krystyna is known for her work in a number of large-scale cases. Among them is successful representation of the state-owned Ukrkhimtransamiak in ICAC (Kyiv) arbitral proceedings against Togliattiazot (Russia) with over USD 190 million at stake. She has been among lead lawyers representing a large Ukrainian steel producer as Respondent in a multi-party ICC arbitration with more than USD 180 million at stake and in a multi-party LCIA arbitration with over USD 400 mln at stake. She also acts as a Ukrainian law expert in the Justice For All (J4A) Support For Commercial Justice project, funded by the USAID and Chemonics International Inc.
