KPMG Law Ukraine successfully represented the interests of one of the biggest world companies in telecommunication equipment and mobile phones area (next – Company) during the administrative appeal of tax notice-decisions.
The subject of appeal was the increasing of VAT tax liability on UAH 12.5 mln owing to write-off of payables by the non-resident supplier. Thanks to an active participation of the Business Ombudsman Council in pre-trial appeal procedure and also because of the detail analyze of case materials, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine has satisfied the Claim and cancel the tax notice-decision in part of increasing the VAT tax liability.
