Asters co-sponsors the Ukrainian Insights exhibition featuring artworks by world-renowned Ukrainian contemporary artists Victor Sydorenko, Oleg Tistol, Mykola Matsenko and Valentyn Popov. The exhibition organized by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Modern Art Research Institute at the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and Artcult Foundation takes place on 16-25 May 2017 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The project aims to bring the world a signal of progressive changes in Ukraine and its inexhaustible potential.
"The truth of the matter is that the art encourages and gives a hope for the future. At good times and at bad times it inspires and heals the souls. The turbulent history of Ukraine proves the mighty power of faith in a better tomorrow and the strength of idealistic and humanistic concepts," – Armen Khachaturyan, Senior Partner at Asters, comments. "Asters is honored to support the exhibition of famous Ukrainian artists at the world political centrum, UN headquarters, as we believe that art is the best weapon as it does not ruin but rather creates."
Supporting Ukrainian art projects is a big part of Asters' social corporate responsibility. Since 2009 this includes ArtAsters – a project dedicated to showcasing, promoting and popularizing the contemporary Ukrainian art and providing opportunity to artists for exhibiting their works in the spectacular Asters' office for the enjoyment of the firm's employees, clients and guests.
