Asters is pleased to announce the promotions of Senior Associates Olena Kasatkina (Real Estate and Construction), Yuri Neklyaev (Family and Inheritance Law, Private Clients), Viktor Tarasenkov and Oleg Samsonovych (Litigation) to Counsels effective from 1 January 2024.
Olena Kasatkina focuses on advising Ukrainian and international clients on various real estate and construction-related matters. She supports real estate lease transactions, title registration to real property, various land-related issues, investment matters, structuring options for foreign investors, and special regimes for major real estate investment projects.
Yuri Neklyaev has over 15 years of experience in family law litigation, including complex divorce and inheritance cases, distribution of marital assets located in Ukraine and worldwide. He also advises on paternity issues, child custody, parenting time, child support arrangements and other family-related matters. He represents clients in international procedures outlined by the Hague Conventions for the return of children abducted by one parent. In 2011 he obtained LL.M degree at University of Hertfordshire (England) and in 2023 he became a certified mediator.
Viktor Tarasenkov focuses on litigation representing clients in civil, administrative, commercial (including bankruptcy cases), employment disputes in courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court. He has extensive experience in handling the largest problematic assets of leading Ukrainian banks.
Oleg Samsonovych focuses on dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in legal proceedings, including commercial (including bankruptcy cases), civil and administrative disputes in courts at all levels resolving complex legal issues. Oleg has successfully represented clients in complex multi-jurisdictional litigation proceedings.
