DLA Piper is pleased to announce the winners of the DLA Piper All-Ukraine Competition for Law Students 2017:
- 1st place: Oleh Dykyi, student of National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy
- 2nd place: Anastasiia Vorobiova, student of National University Odessa Law Academy
- 3rd place: Maksym Morozov, student of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University
The overall winner (1st place) will be offered one week long internship in DLA Piper's office in Luxembourg. The second place winner will get subscription to legal information system LIGA:ZAKON and one-month internship in DLA Piper's office in Kyiv. The third place winner will be offered a one-month internship in DLA Piper's office in Kyiv.
The winners were determined by comprehensive approach, which included written works, English test and an in person interview with a judging panel. The judging panel included representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, in-house lawyers of leading Ukrainian and international companies, as well as leading lawyers from DLA Piper Ukraine.
DLA Piper All-Ukraine Competition for Law Students of 2017 was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Students' League of Ukrainian Bar Association, the European Law Students’ Association, Centre of CSR development, ISIC Ukraine and Studway. The information partners were the European Business Association and American Chamber of Commerce, Interfax-Ukraine News Agency was the general news partner, and legal editorials, Yuridicheskaya Practika and Yurydychna Gazeta, and online editions, biggggidea.com and platfor.ma. were media partners.
