Asters has been recognized as "a social responsibility leader in Ukrainian legal industry" as a result of the international Best in CSR contest run by Sustainable Business magazine, while EBA-Asters Legal School was named one of the best CSR projects in Ukraine in 2016 alongside with the CSR initiatives of Auchan Ukraine, OKKO and Zaporizhstal.
This acknowledgement is received in furtherance of the award "The most socially responsible law firm in Ukraine in 2016" by the annual PLS Top Teams research held by Legal Practice weekly.
Commenting on these recognitions, Asters' Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan notes: "This is distinct evidence of Asters' lasting trendsetting role in Ukraine's legal services market and its humanitarian values. We will keep doing our best in adhering to our corporate social responsibility strategy as we view legal profession as imposing high social obligations and requiring actions satisfying social needs".
The implementation of Asters' corporate social responsibility strategy includes such directions and projects as EBA-Asters Legal School (a unique free of charge platform for Ukrainian legal practitioners to share their best practices), ArtAsters (Asters' CSR project dedicated to supporting and promoting the contemporary Ukrainian art), as well as miscellaneous pro bono and charity initiatives.
